| Lominger International Associate Michael Friedman is managing director of F&L Group Inc., a company that specializes in the design and implementation of global leadership development and succession management programs.
Over the last twenty years he has managed projects in the areas of competency modeling, executive education, organizational assessment and change management. He has led assignments and taught programs in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He continues to build his fluency in Spanish.
With a background in sales and business development, Michael is effective working with senior executives and line managers, and selling and implementing strategic human resources initiatives. He has a broad range of line and consulting experience.
As a partner in a start-up investment advisory firm, he held positions in sales, marketing and business development. Within a five-year period the company was sold to a public media conglomerate.
Michael continues to design and manage projects in a variety of industries including utility, financial services, high tech, and manufacturing organizations. His customers and executive coaching clients include division presidents and officers from Fortune 1000 companies. |
Michael is an Associate of Lominger, Ltd. and Master Certifier for the LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® Suite of products. He also works on large, global engagements with Lominger Consulting Inc.
His most recent projects include:
· Design of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to include competencies and other LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® tools. · HRIS front-end design to integrate performance management and succession planning applications.
· Post-merger work on strategy, executive on boarding, and team alignment.
He has been a speaker on leadership and human resource planning issues around the country. He recently authored a global survey “Using Technology to Implement Strategic Human Resources,” scheduled for publication later this year.
Michael has an undergraduate degree from Emory University and a master’s degree in economics from the New School for Social Research. He also began doctorate-level courses in psychology. He lives in Houston with his wife and three-year-old daughter.
